TGI Fridays
Finally! My wife and I dined out last night at TGI Fridays or TGIF for short. I had always wanted to try this one ever since it opened here in Cebu because I never had the chance to do it in Manila. Last night was not so jampacked since it was a Thursday. I am pretty sure tonight the place will be packed considering it is also payday ;). It has been known that the food served in TGIF have outrageous prices. We expected it so in we went. The place looks western, like Bubba Gump in Greenbelt. Their food is alright. I forgot the names of the food that we ordered but they were fish and chicken & shrimp plus an appetizer that considered of macaroni, stuffed with cheese … yummy. The servings were gigantic too! The only thing that we did not like were the rice. They were cooked like something mediterranean style like in a restaurant we ate before in Rockwell. The taste was odd. Right now, they are giving a free filipino liempo on your next visit after you answer their online survey. And until Feb. 15, they will give you a free ice cream sundae too with a minimum purchase of 500.
Of course, we will go back. We have a free ice cream sundae (which by the way is big, we saw an order of one of the customers) and a Filipino liempo free. We will just have to order 1 main course ;). Oh, and they also give you a freebie if it is your birthday :P. Check out these photos that we ordered.
