Hancock

My wife and I watched Hancock after Wanted and we were both looking forward to this one since we’ve heard from a lot of our friends that this movie was good. I think that most, if not all movies of Will Smith had raked in big bucks no matter what kind of movie genre he’s in and this was no exception. I thought that this was another good bad superhero villain type of movie but I was wrong. Another unique story for a superhero type of movie. There are heroes. There are superheroes. And then there’s… Hancock, a superhero who’s one of two of the last of their kind (which will be revealed on the last part of the movie) and who has falled out of favor from the public because of his no-concern attitude. He may have foiled a robbery but he the damages he causes far exceeds than the whole robbery amount. A public relations professional gets saved by Hancock and helps him repaid his image, ultimately revealing more to the plot about his wife and Hancock’s relationship. Don’t expect to see any villains with superpowers in this movie because you won’t see one. Nonetheless, one of the good movies for this year.
