AddThis Widget To Every Post In Blogger

Why bother placing each social bookmarking site button in your page when you can have them all as one right? Placing the AddThis Widget in every post of your Blogger account is very easy. If I can do it, so can you! Make sure you register for an account in AddThis.com. The instructions are fairly simple. Then follow these instructions in your Blogger account.

  • Go to your Blogger account
  • Go to ‘Edit HTML’
  • Click ‘Expand Widget Templates’
  • Search for: <!-- quickedit pencil -->
  • Add the following code immediately above it — no edits required

<!-- AddThis Bookmark Button BEGIN -->
<div class="snarf-border">
<script type = 'text/javascript'>
addthis_url = '<data:post.url/>';
addthis_title = '<data:post.title/>';
addthis_pub = '<data:blog.url/>';
</script><script
src='http://s7.addthis.com/js/addthis_widget.php?v=12'
type='text/javascript' />
</div>
<!-- AddThis Bookmark Button END -->

That’s it. Save template and check the button appear in every post in your Blogger account.

    so the preferred way is to provide each bookmarking button? or, what’s the in-style now?
